Hi, My name is Martin King and I live in Risca. On Saturday 10th March 2012, I am going to undertake a sponsored wheelchair push in aid of Muscular Dystrophy. As a visually impaired wheelchair user with MD, I intend to travel from Risca to the Welsh Assembly Cardiff Bay which is approximately 24 miles and I am already in training and working toward being able to complete the journey safely March 2012. I attend a day centre in Risca and the Staff and service users there are supporting me with my plans and with fund raising. However, I am also looking at contacting outside organisations to try to drum up further support. With this in mind, I am writing to ask whether, you or your organisation would be able to support me and make a donation to this appeal. I am putting my heart and soul into this venture and would appreciate any support offered.
